Every computer running on conventional cooling system based on forced air flow generates certain noise. That noise grows with time of fan work. It s caused by sedimentation of dust on fans' vanes, and a growing loose in bearings and pans.

Finally it results air whirls around fans' vanes - so the primary laminary airflow turns into turbulent - that is the cause of the noise-growth.







KROTON-Silent® contains unique cooling systems for processor and power-supply - that don't require fans to be on (when temperature of surroundings is below 35°C). Power-supply was designed by our company and has all the atests of B class safety and it s accordant to CE norms.




The extra difficulty, which occurs while constructing ultra silent hardware, is softening a hard drive work. Our company managed to eliminate that problem almost completely. Hard drive is sealed in a sound absorbing cooling-body. It also absorbs vibrations and and stops transmition of excess sounds into the PC body. The temperature of hard drive work is even lower than in conventional PCs.

Silent computer is indispensable in places, where alien sounds are highly unwelcome, like in hearing-diagnosis studios, radio and television studios, record studios, electroacoustic laboratories, aponea-chambers etc. This computer was not designed for such purposes as tuning the processor or game-playing. We test the hardware at non-stop working state and 100% of processor's power, in thermic chamber (eg.: film playback with Celeron 2,2GHz uses 30% of processor power)






Last, but not least, silent computer makes incredible difference for comfort of working on it. Scientifical tests proved, that lack of noise makes the person working on computer less tired-what also contributs in increasing persons' work efficiency, and causing far less mistakes.(while noise is typical for conventional computers) ,


An extra field of possible exploatation of our hardware are the places, where the computers have to work in above-average temerature or in above-average dustiness.

KROTON-Silent® includes an extra, independent microcontroller panel, which examines the CPU, power-supply and HDD temperature and regulates the circulation-speed of fans. It is possible to set a different temperature of turning on the fan - independently for each system. After achieving the temperature 5°C below the on-temerature the fan turns off. Additionally, the fans' circulation speed is being constantly adjusted too - for makeing them as silent as possible while they are on. Thanks to expanded cooling system, with the fans on, the computer is able to work in temprerature of surroundings up to 50°C.
